Adaptive Systems - list of projects

Department: AS Duration: 2007 - 2009 Grantor: GACR
The project deals with development of the advanced techniques of assimilation of model results with observations in terrain for purposes of reliability improvement in estimation of final real state.
Department: AS Duration: 2006 - 2008 Grantor: GACR
The proposed project deals with urban traffic feedback control systems. The general objective of the project is the enrichment of the complete design line of LQG controllers so that it will cover steps related to state estimation, ideally with mixed-type (continuous and discrete) states.
Department: AS Duration: 2006 - 2009 Grantor: MSMT
Knowledge elicitation from extensive data files inevitably reduces the extracted information content. Results always serve to a subsequent, often dynamic, decision making. Its quality depends critically on the reduction made.
Department: AS Duration: 2005 - 2007 Grantor: GACR
Predictive control is a dynamically developing area in automatic control with direct impact in practice. The aim of research is to produce algorithms of predictive control with new features which will fit better to requirements from practice. It will concern mainly the use of new models of processes which will broaden the area of application mainly toward nonlinear systems.
Department: AS Duration: 2004 - 2007 Grantor: MDS
Hierarchical control of transportation nets The task aims at building a multi-level control of the traffic in large urban transportation nets. The basic unit we operate with is the traffic microregion. It is a logically delimited collection of crossroads and the communications joining the crossroads.
Department: AS Duration: 2004 - 2006 Grantor: FG
Department: AS Duration: 2004 - 2007 Grantor:
First version of a decision support system using biophysical and radiological data was practically tested. Some of its insufficiencies indicate improvement of the methodology of mixture analysis and extension of the data set by biochemical, histological and other medical quantities. The aims: 1.
Department: AS Duration: 2004 - 2007 Grantor:
Aim 1 Development of implementable theory of Bayesian adaptive distributed decision making (DM) with multiple participants and multiple-criteria. It will provide: Fully probabilistic design (FPD) of adaptive strategies respecting changing environment and group aims.
