(eng): The Gibbs random fields represent proper models for dependent spatial data on a multi-dimensional lattice. Thanks to the local asymptotic normality for the Gibbs random fields in the uniqueness region (i.e., under weak dependences) we can prove asymptotic results concerning statistical inference based on the likelihood ratio. In particular, we shall present the optimality of the likelihood ratio test. In addition, we shall introduce the tests based on the pseudo-likelihood ratio.
