We are deeply sorry to announce that Assoc. Prof. Jana Novovičová passed away after a short illness on May 29, 2010.

Her death came as unexpected and heavy loss. We will miss her as a renowned scientist, teacher, colleague, and dear friend.

The funeral service will be in Ústřední obřadní síni on Olšany cemetery (main entrance) on Thursday June 3rd at 10:30.

With regret we have to announce that Dr. Igor Vajda passed away suddenly after a short illness on May 2, 2010.

His death came as an unexpected and heavy loss. We will miss him as a great scientist and as a dear colleague and friend.

His wife Zdenka and daughters Tereza and Veronika express, on behalf of the family, their thanks to all his colleagues for their condolences.
