Paper, co-authored by Prof. S. Celikovsky from Department of Control Theory awarded "EEA Demonstrator Paper Prize" at IFAC 2017 World Congress in Toulouse, France.

The paper entitled "Time-Optimal Control for Bilinear Nonnegative-In-Control Systems: Application to Magnetic Manipulation" by Jiri Zemanek, Sergej Celikovsky a Zdenek Hurak was awarded the EEA Demonstrator Paper Prize. Praemium Academiae 2017 for Prof. Flusser

We are proud to announce that Prof. Ing. Jan Flusser, DrSc. has been awarded Praemium Academiae, one of the most important and prestigious scientific grants in the Czech Republic. He received the award on September 19, 2017, from the President of the CAS Prof. RNDr. Eva Zažímalová, CSc.

Research Professor title

Ing. Petr Tichavský received the scientific title "Research Professor in Physico-Mathematical Sciences" from the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences on May 24, 2017.

Innovation Award 2016

Association of Innovative Entrepreneurship of the Czech Republic awarded Ing. Milan Talich, Ph.D. and his team the main prize for their work „Expert system for monitoring of deformations of hazardous objects and locations“, which was created in cooperation with Geodézie Ledeč nad Sázavou s.r.o. This prestigious contest was established in 1996.

CDS&T 2015 Competition Award

Ing. Raissa Likhonina from the Department of Signal Processing (ZS) received the Dean's prize of the Faculty of Transportation Sciences in the Students category of the 13th annual nationwide competition Czech traffic infrastructure / technology / innovation of the year 2015 for her diploma thesis Numerical simulation of impact with barries.

Werner von Siemens Award for the Best Teacher to Prof. Ing. Michael Šebek, DrSc.

Prestigious Werner von Siemens Awards were delivered to young scientists, students and teachers on February 4th, 2016 in Betlem Chapel. Among them, the Best Teacher Award was presented to prof. Michael Šebek, who is the Head of the Department of Control Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague and Research Fellow at the Department of Control Theory of the Institute of Information Theory and Automation.
