I am a PhD student at the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering (FNSPE) under supervision of Václav Šmídl.
I focus on algorithm design in statistical modelling and big data analysis. In my dissertation, I aim to solve high-dimensional feature selection (classification) problems with possible multiple equally eligible solutions.
I am interested in and have experience with applied research and interdisciplinary cooperation. I am most keen on (bio)medical research.
As a PhD student, I also have experience with teaching freshmen and with being the chief organizer and manager of a large inter-university seminar on applied mathematics (www.seminar.fjfi.cvut.cz).
