The paper entitled "Time-Optimal Control for Bilinear Nonnegative-In-Control Systems: Application to Magnetic Manipulation" by Jiri Zemanek, Sergej Celikovsky a Zdenek Hurak was awarded the EEA Demonstrator Paper Prize. Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del Instituto Politécnico Nacional The Organizing Committee of the 2023 20th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control (CCE) awards the present RECOGNITION TO: Prof. Branislav Rehák, Ph.D. for the presentation of his plenary talk entitled: „Stabilization of nonlinear large scale sysgems and synchronization of nonlinear multi-agent systems:  a comparison of both problems, Mexico City, Mexico. October 25th, 2023.

ÚTIA offers one-year internships for talented high school students within the framework of the Open Science programme of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The offer for 2024 includes a total of 8 internships, 3 in the field of mathematics and 5 in the field of IT. This ratio reflects quite well the main specializations of the institute. Institutes of Information Theory and Automation in cooperation with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague organizes STAT of ML (Statistics of Machine Learning) conference to be held from  October 5 to October 6, 2023  in Prague, Czech Republic. The main theme of the conference is rigorous statical treatment of machine learning applied in the field of digital finance.
